Own the system, end to end

We’re not hiring against open roles right now — but if you want to build production-grade AI systems, we want to hear from you.

How we work

A colony, not a management pyramid

We’re organised as a self-coordinating team: everyone can see the same signals, and everyone is trusted to act on them.

You own the system, not a ticket

Work here is scoped as a real system to build and defend, not a queue of tickets — you carry it from architecture through to it running unattended in production.

Read the signal, act without asking

We coordinate through shared telemetry, pipelines and repos rather than a chain of managers. You act on the signals in front of you and own the call — no committee between an idea and the code.

Human and AI, one workflow

Builders work alongside AI agents in a shared environment. It's how a small, senior team ships at the pace and quality an enterprise expects.

Client work and our own products

You'll move between engineering for enterprise clients and building PegBit's own products — Omos, ExamSurf, Sydence, AI Kraft — the same discipline, applied to both.

How you grow

Peg → Beam → Pillar → Keystone

Four capability tiers, not a title ladder. You move up on what you deliver and what you contribute to the team — measured on the work, not on tenure or a manager’s sign-off.

PegEntry

Ship sprint work at high quality, write the tests and docs that go with it, and learn how we coordinate.

BeamEstablished

Lead a feature end to end — design through ship — mentor newer builders, and contribute to the shared library.

PillarSenior

Own a technical domain, lead cross-functional cells, and set the standards your unit builds to.

KeystoneLead

Set unit strategy, act as the cross-team liaison, and help shape where the studio invests next.

Starting & sustaining

Onboarded in tandem, paced to last

How your first weeks run, and how we protect the pace after.

Tandem onboarding

You start with a two-week paired sprint, co-authoring real work alongside a senior builder — so you learn how we build by building, not by reading a wiki.

Recharge is scheduled, not begged for

Sustainable pace is a policy, not a perk. Recovery time is built into the calendar on a rotation, and after-hours patterns are watched so nobody quietly burns out.

Open roles

Nothing posted yet

We’ll list specific roles here as they open. In the meantime, send an expression of interest and we’ll reach out if there’s a fit.
